I am a Google Science Fair enthusiast, at least according to the email I just received telling me that the Google Science Fair 2012 has launched.

Looking back at last years fair, how could I not be?

Science fairs have definitely come a long way since I was a kid.

In partnership with CERN, The LEGO Group, National Geographic and Scientific American, the 2012 Google fair is open to students aged 13 – 18 from around the world to answer some interesting scientific questions with their own research.  Students have the chance to advance science, gain incredible life experiences, and win scholarships and real-life work opportunities.

Go to Google Science Fair to find out more information.  Follow them on Google+, Facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date.

There are some eligibility requirements may apply in your country; check the Official Rules for details.

If you are a kid, why not throw your hat in the ring.

If you are not a kid, can you re-post and advertise this opportunity.  Many great young scientists are out there waiting to bring the next generation of research to the limelight.

And finally, as the Google email stated “Everyone has a question. What’s yours?”
