How many have heard or told a similar story “my grandfather ate nothing but steak and bacon, drank everyday of his life, smoked like a chimney and lived to be 120?”

Our grandparents generation seem has it down.  So what’s there secret?

Likely, there genes!

A new study published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, found that with the eternal battle of nature versus nurture, nature wins out with regards to living a very long life.  It’s not about what you eat, or what you do in your life, although I’m sure that it has an effect, but rather the biggest player in a long life, depends largely on your genes.
